Maylands Fork 'n' Good Fish and Chips

This place has been my local for about the last 3 years. I used to always go to another nearby f&C as my sister is celiac but now this is my nearby I tried it out sometimes during lockdown. The quality is consistent, never overly greasy and the portions are a very decent price. Not sure why some reviewers are obsessed with lemon, I've never had lemon included at a takeaway shop since I was a kid?The staff are always friendly, it can get a bit busy on weekends so allow for that or order ahead on one of the apps. They cook everything to order so it takes longer than the drive through, you get what you wait for :)The only thing that would make this place better is if they did true GF chips (separate fryer) because there's only 2 in a reasonable distance who do. One I found overhyped and greasy, the other is changing hands so may not continue. I bet these guys could do proper gluten free justice as they seem to have attention to detail and quality. People who have no choice but to eat GF will make the drive if it's done right :)All in all a solid takeaway night choice, the burgers are good too. Just like the local lunch bars in the 80s :)

We have 3 fish and chip shops in our local.area yet we drive to Maylands for fork n good.The food is AMAZING every time and the curry sauce is next level.The service from the junior staff is impeccable, you wouldn't get that service buying a Louis Vuitton hand bag! Love this place!

This is the 2nd time with Fork n Good and it was a very tasteful meal. The fish was moist and the squid rings were perfect.Roll on the 3rd time!!

By far the best fish and chips I’ve had for years!! Fish is fresh, chips are crunchy, there is NO excessive grease, staff are amazing!! I’m not a local but willing to travel 20 minutes for these fish and chips……5 star ⭐️

Hands down best tasting fish n chips NOR. Batter is crispy & quality is always consistent. Fish is fresh & the chips are so yummy they're addictive. Highly recommended.

Man, legit best dam fish and chips in Perth. The curry sauce makes it. Normally when a restaurant recommends that a dish serves 2, I'll order it for myself and finish it. I ordered a family feast for my friend and myself, and we couldn't finish it. I'd go again, but cholesterol and high blood pressure be knocking on my door. Worth the drive, would recommend calling ahead and ordering. The staff are hell nice tooEdit: It's been 1 week we came back again. Just as good as the first week

calling ahead and it has been ready in 20 mins as promised the last 4 visits, very friendly staff and fish is crisp and chips hot and fresh. burgers are well cooked and delicious ingredients, so glad it is my local
